Happy Holidays!

Hello Everyone,
I've been quiet on here lately. I am still around, but I always find myself super busy this time of year and never have enough time to do anything bear related. I am on winter break now, and I did manage to get some work done on a new little bear, so maybe I'll be able to share her with you soon!

Anyway, I just wanted to wish you all a Happy Holidays! Enjoy this time of year and enjoy the people around you! I'm looking forward to going to see my family this weekend, and Zac and I are taking a trip to Orlando, FL over New Year's, so we're going to have a fun (and crazy) next two weeks. (Watch for pictures, especially if we're friends on Facebook. We will certainly upload our adventure.)

Thank you all for following my blog and for supporting me!

Hugs,

Raylin is a 14" bear made out a hand painted rainbow mohair in 7 different colors. He has black glass eyes with ultrasuede eyelids that have been hand shaded. His nose was hand-stitched out of a black perle cotton. Raylin has off-white ultrasuede toes that have been soft-sculpted and hand shaded. Final Show of the Year!

Hello!
This weekend I will be traveling to Ann Arbor, MI for my final show of the year! This is a great show every year that I've been going to for a long time. This show is being put on by Bright Star Promotions and will be open to the public from 9:30 - 3:00. Click here for a sneak preview of the artists that will be at the show and for information about the location of the show.

Below are a couple of new pieces that I will have with me at the show.

I have also been dyeing more fabric and I will have a brand new rainbow bear at the show. I used to make these bears with hand-dyed rainbow colors 6 - 7 years ago, but I ran out of the dyes to make the bears. I just recently found some online, ordered it, and dyed the fur. He's not done yet, but I'm planning to finish him before the show. You'll want to check him out :)

For Real!

Hello!
Here is the project that I have been working on... A 'realistic'-style bear. Please let me know what you think about him.

Wallace is a brand new, one of a kind design from Teds 'n Such!

Wallace is a 14" tall realistic-style bear. He is made out of a wonderful, dense tan plush with rusty brown tips/guard hairs. Wallace has German black glass eyes with leather eyelids that have been hand shaded. He also has leather paws and feet with soft-sculpted claws/toes that have been hand shaded. Wallace's nose has been needle felted out of black wool and has been sealed with a clear coat for protection and to give it a shiny, wet look. Wallace has hand-made black polymer clay claws on his paws and feet. Wallace has been stuffed with a combination of polyester fiber and steel shot. He is fully jointed for poseability. Wallace is currently available for $205.
